Last year, the Accel­er­ate Michi­gan Inno­va­tion Com­pe­ti­tion had more than 500 atten­dees. Aside from our stel­lar line up of entre­pre­neur­ial com­pa­nies and stu­dents for the com­pe­ti­tion – we had more than 25 invest­ment firms from across the coun­try, top Michi­gan cor­po­ra­tions includ­ing Ford, Toy­ota, Masco, DTE, AARP, Espe­rion, Strate­gic Staffing Solu­tions, Gen­eral Dynam­ics and Whirlpool, as well as a broad cross sec­tion of the inno­va­tion com­mu­nity – prin­ci­pals from lead­ing tech­nol­ogy, law, account­ing, and HR firms.
